To design and deliver outstanding development for THG personnel worldwide to optimize group performance.


As Head of THG Academy, you will hold a critical position to deliver huge impact across the population of employees in THG. You will have an established background working in talent development in a thriving e-commerce company with a clear understanding of business commercials and modern techniques for measuring performance and optimizing talent.


Reporting to the Group Director of Leadership and Development, you will be leading a team of leadership and development professionals, managing the early stages of e-commerce training and a core of foundational skills in leadership and management across the Group.


You will take part in and lead THG development initiatives, design and lead training aimed at optimizing performance, efficiency, employee experience and creating a culture of innovation and learning. You will understand how to assess the effectiveness of our training and be flexible in mind to adapt to a changing employee population as the Group continues to grow.

You will be an experienced leader of people, analytical and educated to Masters level (preferably MBA) and skilled in spotting and developing talent. Hands on when required, able to inspire through your own personality, connected to the team and broader stakeholders, whilst managing the bigger picture. You will be skilled at developing stakeholder relationships to understand clearly the training needs across the Group at all levels.

The THG Academy will deliver world class training in both e-commerce and leadership and you will work with the THG Academy Coordinator to establish a framework for developing our people, both those who arrive into the Group and those more experienced in THG.
