About the opportunity;

Due to expansion we are looking for passionate, commercial and ambitious individuals to help us grow our Prestige Division. As a Beauty Buyer you will incorporate effective management of the Brands you are responsible for, to deliver the company strategy, showcase the brand and product offering to deliver sales and profitability in line with target.

  • Be the brand specialist. Develop, implement and deliver brand plans including range reviews, promotions and pricing ensuring consistency with commercial strategy
  • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of promotions, taking appropriate action where necessary
  • Prepare and agree annual budget and brand plans with the approval of your Head of Buying
  • Full P&L responsibility of allocated brands
  • To increase turnover and profit by remaining competitive and innovative in line with competitors
  • Take full responsibility that existing ranges of merchandise are procured efficiently, maximise sales and profitability and are aligned with the collections and activities of category.
  • Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers ensuring long term commercial benefit tying in with business strategy
  • Project ownership – responsible for owning and driving projects by working cross functionally to improve processes and efficiencies.
  • Requirements

    • Proven experience of working within a buying team in a similar role and market.

    • Strongly Analytical, Prioritizing, Interpersonal, problem- solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion) and planning skills

    • A strong commitment to align the business operation with the brand’s needs.

    • Experience of team management desirable, but not essential

    • Strong verbal and written communication
